The Challenge CEO's Evolve Studios needed an identity that matched its grand mission—empowering established business owners to grow, collaborate, and create high-end content. Early design iterations focused literally on the abstract concept of "evolution," but the messaging felt disconnected from the brand's most powerful asset: its physical space, a historic former church with a 21-year history.

The Challenge

CEO's Evolve Studios needed an identity that matched its grand mission—empowering established business owners to grow, collaborate, and create high-end content. Early design iterations focused literally on the abstract concept of "evolution," but the messaging felt disconnected from the brand's most powerful asset: its physical space, a historic former church with a 21-year history.

The Pivot (The Container)

The breakthrough happened when the strategy shifted to treat the building as a literal and figurative "container" for creative development. By anchoring the primary logo mark in the physical building's unique silhouette and marquee, the brand achieved instant recognition and gave the business a flexible framework to tell the stories of its multi-room ecosystem (from podcast and recording spaces to wellness studios).

The Visual Language

To position the space with the high-end, vibrant energy of a luxury boutique hotel, the typography and color systems were built to bridge structure with raw creativity. The editorial flamboyance of Saol Display balances the strict, circular, evolution-minded geometry of ES Rebond Grotesque. Meanwhile, a bold yet luxurious secondary color palette gives each room and creative discipline its own moment to lead without diluting the core brand.

Functional Utility

The identity relies on pure functional design to solve business problems. The core marquee symbol acts as a scalable building block—cleverly stacked to visually tier membership levels (Creators, CEOs, Partners) and serving as a graphic window that frames the creators in motion underneath.

The Ultimate Impact

Developed through deep collaboration and extensive iteration with Raven Paris, the final identity brings an institutional, museum-level design standard to the small business sector. It redefines how creative entrepreneurs show up, setting a powerful new benchmark for design excellence in Baltimore and the wider creative ecosystem.
